Mobility dysfunction is an equal opportunity challenge - you are likely reading
this web site because you or someone you care about has some form of foot drop.
That the condition is common does not make it any less debilitating. Young and old,
sick and healthy, the loss of freedom that can accompany tragic circumstances such
as MS, a traumatic brain injury, or a stroke has the potential to take a once-vibrant
individual and leave them a shell of what they once were.
The goal of this web site is to introduce you to a piece of technology that has
helped people like you or someone you know to regain this freedom. We want to share
with you the stories of our patients -- these are not actors and the quotes are
real. The WalkAide is providing freedom to those that felt the grip of fear and
embarassment enter their lives. If their stories ring true with you, please take
a minute to request further information
or contact a trained clinician in your area.
